I am conducting research at the University of Tokyo

YOSHIRO STUDIO is collaborating with the University of Tokyo for the further dissemination and development of the YUASA-METHOD.

The University of Tokyo's Research Center for Advanced Sports Science (Director: Professor Naokata Ishii) and YOSHIRO STUDIO (Yoshiro Yuasa) have concluded an agreement to exchange human and intellectual resources and to utilize physical resources in order to develop medical and health science research, and to make the results widely available for the promotion of human health and the development of sports culture. The purpose of the agreement is to contribute to the promotion of people's health and the development of sports culture through the exchange of human and intellectual resources and the utilization of physical resources, as well as the development of medical, scientific and health science research. Hironoba Gymnastics" has also been studied in joint research with universities and in academic papers as a verification of the safety and effectiveness of rehabilitation. We place great importance on analysis from both perspectives: the effects of physical sensation and scientific numerical effects.

Research Objectives

The unique rehabilitation technique developed by Keiro Yuasa is truly a rehabilitation method suitable for patients with various diseases and the aging society. In addition, since it improves toe deformity, posture, and mouth breathing, it is expected to have a direct improvement effect, depending on the type of disease. We would like to study the usefulness of this training method by conducting studies of its rehabilitation effects on patients with various diseases, direct or secondary effects on the diseases, and comparative studies with conventional rehabilitation methods.

Through this joint research agreement, we will contribute to the realization of a healthy and long-lived society by making use of sports and health science, which has until now been regarded as specialized knowledge, for the promotion of people's health. The Center for Advanced Sports Science is a facility built by the University of Tokyo's Graduate Schools of Medicine and Engineering, as well as 16 other research departments and institutes from across the university, as a major center for joint research and development projects being conducted by industry and academia. We are convinced that YOSHIRO STUDIO was able to conduct joint research there because of the high possibility that the usefulness and safety of HIRONOBA Gymnastics in the medical field will be recognized.
